Head & eye, from Ig Nobel Prize winners

Two Ig Nobel Prize winners have new books out about the evolution of the human body, or portions thereof.

Daniel Lieberman (2009 prize in physics for analytically determining why pregnant women don’t tip over)’s new book is The Evolution of the Human Head, ISBN 978-0674046368.

Ivan Schwab‘s (2006 prize in ornithology for exploring and explaining why woodpeckers don’t get headaches) somewhat-soon-(November)-to-be-published book is Evolution’s Witness: How the Eye Evolved, ISBN 9780195369748. (Thanks to investigator Sip Siperstein for bringing this to our attention.)
