Inspired by our continuing series of research articles about Feline Reactions to Bearded Men, reader Josie Plouffe has brought to our attention a vaguely related line of research that was conducted more than a century ago.

So far as we have been able to determine, the research was directed to explore Adult Human Male Reactions to Boxing Felines. The scene was recorded by Thomas Edison in 1894.
