About Dariusz Jemielniak
Dariusz Jemielniak is Polish Desk Chief of the science humor magazine Annals of Improbable Research.
Dariusz has a Ph.D. in (mis)management from Kozminski University. Currently he is the head of CROW (Center for Research on Organizations and Workplaces). He spent 2004-2005 as a Fulbright scholar at Cornell University, while in 2007 he spent a semester at Harvard University, only to move for a semester in 2008 to University of California, Berkeley, to pursue his qualitative, interpretive study of knowledge workers' occupational and organizational culture. His recent publications cover topics that include software engineers' perception of managers as lazy stupid careerists, time as symbolic currency in organizations, as well as stupidity of knowledge management.
